James Caskey is an author and historian who focuses on the weird history, folklore, and ghost stories of Savannah, Georgia.
James Caskey grew up in DeLand, Florida. He moved to Savannah in 1992 to pursue a Bachelor of Arts Degree at the Savannah College of Art and Design, and worked for several years as a portrait and decorative finish painter.
He founded Cobblestone Tours in August 2001. His tours have been featured on the Travel Channel program America’s Most Haunted Places-Savannah.
Among his accomplishments are participating as a reenactor in the burial of the Hunley crew in Charleston, South Carolina in April 2004, and appearing in a documentary (currently in development) which also features Jean Marc Barr, by noted French filmmaker Pascal Arnold.
Haunted Savannah is his first book.
